I was tasked with overhauling Yonni's Doughnuts website to address significant usability issues hindering user engagement and online sales. The existing platform presented challenges for users, impacting their ability to navigate, select, and purchase doughnuts effectively. To remedy this, I conducted a comprehensive process which included analysis, research, and a iterative redesign. This ensured the new interface would be intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with the company's branding.
I found this project really fulfilling. The comprehensive framework and process I applied was crucial to this project's success. The process included user research, evaluating the existing website using the 10 usability heuristics, and observation activities, to identify pain points and user preferences. These insight guided the redesign process, allowing me to prioritize features and design elements that would enhance the user experience. This iterative approach not only resulted in a visually appealing and intuitive website but also significantly improved user engagement and online sales for Yonni's Doughnuts.
