I was responsible for the design and development of a B2B ecommerce platform with particular emphasis on implementing robust user authentication measures. More details on the design can be found Here.

One pivotal aspect of this endeavor involved establishing a secure login process. To achieve this, I employed encryption techniques to hash passwords before storing them in a MySQL database that I developed. This ensured that user passwords remained securely encrypted, thus mitigating the risk of unauthorized access.

Additionally, I integrated regular expressions (regex) to enforce stringent password requirements, enhancing the platform's overall security. This included setting minimum password lengths, mandating a combination of alphanumeric characters, and implementing error messaging.

Furthermore, I implemented data sanitization to thwart SQL injection attacks and other malicious input forms.

I found this project immensely rewarding. Witnessing my designs come to life and being part of such a robust and intricate project was thoroughly enjoyable.
