For this project, I modeled a set of chess pieces by importing a reference image and using Maya's EP curve tool. Since the chess pieces are symmetrical, I outlined half of each piece with the EP curve, then revolved the curve to create the full 3D shape. I utilized modeling tools such as extrude, bevel, fill hole, poke, insert edge loop, and the bridge tool to add finer details. This project taught me about using reference images effectively and leveraging the curve tool for precise symmetrical modeling.
